We have not had any in-person living history since the small turnout we got for the July 2020 WWI weekend at the Golden Age Air Museum. The Veterans Day parade was cancelled (or it was “virtual”). So we were thrilled to put masks on and take part in reenacting once more, by supporting Flanders in the USA for the annual In Flanders Field Memorial Day event. This annual small event is held in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, at the Flanders Field Doughboy sculpture by Burt Johnson. We were part of the annual honors, something we have taken part in since 2017. It was a big honor to represent again. Afterwards, we retired to lunch atop the Press Box Lounge.
