On Tuesday, April 10th Orange County Historian Johanna Yaun will be hosting a special behind-the-scenes tour of the West Point Museum’s World War I collections with arms curator Les Jensen.
The tour will take place at 4:00 PM. Afterwards we’ll walk across the street for dinner and then return to the museum at 7:00 PM for the monthly meeting of the “Company of Military Historians” West Point Chapter. The speaker Frank Licameli will present about the local companies of the 107th Infantry Regiment who fought at the Battle of St. Quentin Canal on September 29, 1918.
This special event is open to people are either signed up to attend the 9-day centennial trip to Belgium and France or those who are considering attending and would like more information direct from the coordinators.
