Registration is closed. Participate in the first illumination of the U.S. World War I Memorial on Sept. 13, 2024, in Pershing Park. Take part in two days of living history on Saturday, Sept. 14, and Sunday, Sept. 15. All AEF and related American service era living historians invited. The World War I Memorial in Washington, DC, commemorates those who served in the trenches and on the home front, celebrating a nation forever changed by the sacrifices they made and the ideals they bequeathed. Sculptor Sabin Howard has created a stunning bronze relief that will soon take its place among the foremost works of art in the nation’s capital.

Registration closed September 2. The events are open to the public and you of course can attend; but we registered all participants from 24 May 2024 to 2 September 2024.
We do not have seats at the Friday night ceremony. There will be two days of living history on the plaza around the sculpture, Saturday 14 September and Sunday 15 September from 0900 to 1700.
